Who We Are

Restart Rugby is the official charity of the Rugby Players’ Association and supports professional players suffering from serious injury, illness or hardship.

What We Do

Our players give their all for team, club and country but their lives and careers can change in a split second. When things go wrong, Restart Rugby is there to provide players and their families with financial, practical and emotional support during difficult times, including help with medical treatment, rehabilitation, counselling and career transition.

Restart Rugby doesn’t receive any government funding and relies completely on the generous support of individuals, fundraisers and companies to continue to be there for our players and their families when they need us most.

Mission Statement

The Warriors Community Foundation is the charitable arm of Worcester Warriors and exists to help build a legacy for sport, education, health and social cohesion across the communities within our reach. The programmes we deliver differentiate us from other clubs.

We utilise our brand, iconic status, players and professional staff to engage and inspire young people through the power of sport to live an active, healthy and rewarding lifestyle.

What we do

  • We specialise in working with young people disengaged from mainstream education or those who have behavioural or learning issues
  • We engage in workshops with young people to help them make positive life choices.
  • We utilise the values of rugby: leadership, teamwork, respect, discipline and confidence to raise aspirations
  • We provide informative educational programmes on social issues such as alcohol and drug abuse, health and crime.
  • We work with schools, clubs and on street corners to increase participation in sport.
